The Insurance CE That Became
The Morality of Money
For more than 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching insurance professionals throughout Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin through Bryan Ventures. But anyone who has spent a day in one of my classes knows that we’ve never talked only about insurance.
We’ve talked about money, debt, investing, retirement, government, taxes, Social Security, Medicare, economics, ethics—and the choices people make when money and real life collide.
We’ve challenged conventional wisdom. We’ve disagreed. We’ve laughed. And many of you have shared your own experiences and perspectives with me along the way.
The Morality of Money grew directly out of the ideas I’ve been teaching—and discussing with many of you—for years. It brings together personal finance, economics, government, faith, values and the question underneath all of it:
How do we use money to build a life that is not simply wealthier—but richer?
Seeing readers respond to those ideas has been incredibly rewarding. The book has reached #12 in Personal Finances on IngramSpark and the Top 100 in Christian Values & Virtues on Amazon, and I’ve begun having these conversations with podcast hosts, book clubs and readers around the country.
Now I’m looking forward to bringing those conversations back to the Upper Midwest—and to many of the insurance professionals who helped shape them.
Come Join the Conversation in a Bryan Ventures CE Class
Our Bryan Ventures live insurance CE classes aren’t lectures where you sit quietly and watch the clock.
They’re conversations about the issues affecting your clients, your profession and your own financial life. We connect insurance concepts to the economy, government policy, retirement, debt, investing, ethics and the financial decisions people make every day.
Many of the discussions that ultimately became The Morality of Money began right there in our classrooms.
I’ll Be Back in the Upper Midwest This September
I already have several classes and book events scheduled while I’m back in Minnesota, but I’d love the opportunity to see more of you while I’m there.
If you’d like to bring some of your clients, colleagues, friends or community together, let’s create an opportunity to continue the conversations that inspired The Morality of Money.
